It’s always felt difficult to define the movement practice that Anna Kryvenko teaches. A fusion of Pilates, yoga and stretch is as close as I’ve got until now, and then I recalled Anna’s own words in a recent class. She referred to our work as a body meditation. For me, that’s exactly what an hour of practicing with Anna represents. An opportunity to connect to the body through loving movement, to make physical space through gentle stretching and to soften into a meditative flow.
And as the body finds ease, the mind finds peace.
Spaces at Anna’s Body Meditation are £10, and take place on the following Wednesday evenings at 7pm:
