We all really enjoyed May’s willow weaving workshop led by Jane Roberts. So much so, that I’ve invited Jane back to ru a September workshop at which participants will learn how to weave a simple willow basket.

We’ll meet in the garden here in Quinton for an outdoor workshop. Jane will demonstrate how to create a sustainable and durable willow basket, and then it’ll be a our turn to get weaving with Jane on hand to guide and support us. You’ll leave at the end of the workshop with a willow plant support to take home and a new skill that you can apply to make many more!

The afternoon will conclude with tea and cake and time to wander around the garden.

The workshop is suitable for beginners, though weaving does take some strength in the hands and wrists.

Please bring an apron/sensible shoes/boots/garden gloves/secateurs and a sense of fun!

The workshop costs £40.
